It's time, 2023 F1 season starts this weekend so time for a thread.

Looks like RedBull aced the preseason test but I'm looking forward to seeing Alonso in the new Aston Martin who seemed to have made significant progress this last off season. Also happy to see an American driver back on the grid, Logan Sargeant with Williams who seemed to have a decent test and I'd love to see Williams return to their glory days.

Hoping there may be 4-5 teams fighting for podiums if not wins.

Alonso fastest in second practice today. Another team competing for wins will definitely make the season more interesting.

Absolutely! And with Mercedes reportedly working on reconfigured sidepods it could get real interesting.

Now if only ESPN could put Varsha, Hobbs, and Matchett back together.

Looks like there may be a very interesting season in the works. Great job by Alonso and the Aston Martin team and the Hulk. And I for one am happy to see an American driver on the grid.

Looking forward to tomorrow.

Maybe the Saudis will continue their 'sports washing' and make that possible
