So your saying that Smoke is still the same great driver?

Clearly his personality is much, much better. The way he treats his crew, fans, fellow drivers, the media. Yes, being an owner, you have to be P-C, especially to retain your sponsors.

There is a point in everyone's life that we decide to "grow up" and act like an adult....guess Tony finally reached that point.

He didn't just grow up overnight. Last year with Gibbs how many times did he blast Goodyear? The worst beat down on National TV i think was Indy. I thinks its all about being the owner now and like you said the P-C. And Yes, he's still a great driver.

When Tony blasted Goodyear, I thought it was about time someone did. Sometimes these drivers need to speak up, and since Tony has clout, he did and Goodyear listened!!

Hindsight is always 20/20, just ask Congressman Joe Wilson.
