Will he be taking over for Mark Martin???? Mark Martin to retire???
2012 contract starts. So who will he ride with next year??
Till his contract starts??
Good place to be Hendricks. But I am a fan of the Hendrick boys.
Hendrick is a great team owner. I am sure all are.
Well we will see how things go. Still got this year Hope he does good for Petty( The King) He deserves to be in the spotlight he has done alt for our racing sport.
People sholudl realize its just a job to them like our jobs are to us. If we can get better somewhere else we would take it too.

Yes, Kasey Kahne is going to drive the 5 car in 2012 after Mark Martin retires. He'll stay in the Petty #9 this year. Rumor has it that he may drive a 3rd car in the Stewart Haas camp in 2011.

Hendrick would probably boot Gordon before Dale Jr. Dale Jr. brings in the merchandise money, Johnson brings in the championships, Kahne may bring in more wins, Gordon's best days may be behind him (hoping not as a Gordon fan.)

Just another denial of pending MM retirement? Now, does anyone really believe M when he says he was looking for just the 'right' driver to fill in for him? C'mon. MM, are you really that responsible for HMS racing decisions? Give me a break!

Gordaon will go when he wants too. Dale Jr better start showing some results tho. Gordaon certainly still has some years and johson could ahve no better partnering with his experience, Dale Jr can only last so long without results as his fans are getting tired of supporting his old man's son.

Leave it to a hater to know what all of Dale Jr's fans are thinking.

Rick will NEVER boot Jeff Gordon. Jeff would leave NASCAR before that would even be a possibility, or form his own team. Jeff wouldn't put Rick into that situation.

Jeff owns half of the 48 team also if you recall. I love Jr, but I think he would go before Jeff or JJ... but even then, Rick would have to be desperate to boot him.

I predict that Mark will go to Stewart-Haas next year and let Casey slip into the 5 car.
