My point is lying to da man can come back and bite you. And advising others, on a public forum, to break the law...ain't too bright either.
Of course falsifying sales prices have been going on forever....but beware. Most State budgets are in worse shape than they've ever been and some are digging hard for revenue. My State is known to contact private individual vehicle sellers and ask what they sold their car for. So make sure your seller is willing to commit perjury in order to save you a few bucks...

Funny. No, really -- that's funny. I always find it humorous when people lie through their teeth just so their "point" will somehow be more "credible."
The day ANYBODY can show me where ANY state's Department of Motor Vehicles reimbursed ANYONE for an automobile, I'll sign over the title to mine. How's that? Fair enough? LOL.
How many of you honestly believed any of that? I'd also like to know what State calls around asking folks what they sold their cars for. That's rhetorical, by the way (meaning, I already know the answer to the question). Once that title leaves your hands, and assuming you received cash (only) for the car, your only paper trail has moved on with the buyer.
Funny.
The rest of you seem to have your stuff together. This guy does not. He's also living in his own fantasy land.
