Right now my daily driver is a 90 Merc GRAND MARQUIS, it's a nice mid size 4 door. But I just found the 74 Bonneville I used to own and I will drag it home this weekend. I have already decided how the 455 will be rebuilt, and a newer 4L80E trans will be used , the body will come off the frame, and both completely redone. It's still in great shape, so it won't be a hard redo, just be easier to get to everything!. I am changing the color from the silver / white top & interior to Admirality blue and black interior. Not enough of these 2 doors left!

It should look very good when done. Having the big 455 engine is a bonus!

And a good choice in the color change.

It was an amazing ride!

Hello,

I would like to use your photo of a 68 linc that you have on here. I would like to use it in a presentation booklet of American Cars. Can you let me know if this is allowed please? Many thanks, Susi

Why stop in the 80s when Cadillac made these bad boys up into the mid 90s ?

I had a 71 Delta 88 w/455 and that engine is the bomb. If you have never driven a car with an engine of that size you should.

My 1966 Pontiac Grand Prix. The original 389 had a blown head gasket when I got it, but it had a rebuilt transmission. I bought a 1966 Grand Prix parts car with a good drivetrain, took its engine and used it with the rebuilt transmission. Had to take the front clip off to pull the engine and haven't quite finished:
