I've always wanted a factory Cadillac Limousine and I found one 10 years ago. It is longer than a Maybach and can seat more than twice as many people (9 for my limo VS 4 for the Maybach). In fact, even my '66 6-passenger Plymouth can seat more people than a Maybach!
A bonus is that Cadillac limos are affordable and provide a super-smooth ride and lots of interior room.

You can find those Cadillac limos everywhere, and mostly in very good shape for cheap.

Very true. They are not priced extremely high like many '60s/early '70s muscle cars are. And as you said, most are in good shape and were well-cared for.
That does help because not a huge number were built each year. It did take me 1 year and 2 months to find my limo.

For example a beautiful 99 Deville limo with 20K miles on it is currently on Ebay for less than $10,000. Barely broken in!
How has parking worked for you? A friend of mine has a full-size Cadillac sedan from the 70's and already has to park at the back of the parking lot.

Yes, there are good buys out there.
You would be surprised where I've parked my limo. We do have big parking lots out here and even those "mini-mall" parking lots aren't too bad.
As for driving it (the limo) after I bought it and drove it for a while, it almost just became another car. Very large and a very smooth ride, but I drive it to places I would drive regular, smaller cars... to the bank, the market, the beach, the mountains, the doctor's/dentist's office, etc.
^I tried to drive my grandma's 70's era Ford LTD. My dad just asked me to park it around the corner from our house. I nearly took out my mom's car, the mail box, and another neighbor's car. Fortunately I missed all of the above but the difference in driving those cars big 60-70's era cars and modern cars is HUGE! It must take some mad driving skills to drive those boats....or should I call you Captain Fleet?
