I'm not adept at texting without looking at the tiny screen and I would have to put on my reading glasses so I couldn't do it even if I wanted to! Last year they made texting while driving against the law here in Michigan.
My brother totalled his car and damaged another one on the freeway while texting, a few years ago. At night. On very snowy, icy roads. Thank God nobody was hurt. I think he realised how freaking idiotic and irresponsible that was and doesn't do it any more. Or at least he says he doesn't....
No. My phone is a touch screen and there's no way to do it even by feel, were I good enough at texting/typing to do it that way. I'll just use the teeth of blue to talk handsfree.
Never txt while I was driving. I have blue tooth and use an ear bud, but I've never talked on the phone without it, while driving, and I've never sent a txt message while driving. I don't even read txt messages until after I'm parked.
The great thing about doing any activity in your car while driving is that some folks have the skill set to pull it off and some people don't, and natural selection determines the winners and losers.
Sure I do. Lots of accidents happen simply by a-holes applying make-up or playing with the stereo, or tending to the rugrats, so whats the difference?
All the more reason to pay attention to the road and other drivers on the road.
