I test drove a Fit. Was very spunky for the engine size and comes with a lot of options for a sub 20k price. Road noise was a little loud, but not many cars that size are quiet on the road.

I suggest hit some dealers and get some test drives in. I also test drove the Fiesta, felt really roomy for a small car.
