Plus travel related cost. Fridays and Mondays were spent traveling to and from the race event. Motel bills for Friday through Sunday night and race entry fees too.

Battling it out... you mean on the track or in court?

Throw my hat in for WRC -- true stock car racing. I miss doing RallyCross but I don't have a suitable car for it any more and it's hard to find events near Chicago these days. The Chicago organizers kept losing access to venues until they essentially disbanded.

LOL clever

I used to do a little bit of that myself in my not-too-younger days. It's a rush but it's dangerous as hell lol

I like going to the weekly street nights races at the drag strip. I prefer seeing cars I can relate to and afford on a day-to-day basis.

Oh yeah...and it sure is a shame what happened to the Speed channel .... anybody here remember when it was still Speed vision? You know...before Fox bought it and trashed the channel...turning it into Nascar vision.

I really don't have issue with Nascar...it just sucks they ruined such a diversified chanel and made it one track. No balance at all
