Ford is supposed to be coming out with a mini-crossover/hatchback based on the Mazda2. GM Chevrolet has the Aveo made by Daewoo. Other makes and models that fit that category. Dodge Caliber. Honda FIT. Toyota Yaris. Nissan Versa.

Caliber is significantly heavier I believe compared to the above 4 Asian sourced vehicles.
