Hi there , I am looking to lease a new vehicle . I currently am leasing a black 06' Nissan Pathfinder LE . I love this SUV , but it is just too small . The main problem I have with this vehicle is that it has a small third row seat that can barely even accomodate toddlers and small children . Occasionally , I travel from Nashville to Memphis with my girlfreind , my brother , my brother's wife , their teenage son , and my 27 year old cousin during holidays . We are all pretty tall or at least average height , which leaves the poor person who gets stuck sitting in third row uncomfortable during the whole trip and wincing with pain . The third row is so dreaded that we usually end up arguing about who will sit back there before we go on a trip . My lease on this vehicle will be over at the beggining of November and I want to go ahead and start a lease on a new vehicle now . So , in other words I need a more comfortable vehicle that can sit 6 to 7 adult passengers . My girlfreind and I are thinking about a minivan or maybe a mid-sized crossover . We have thought about leasing a full-sized suv like a Tahoe or Yukon , but think that would be too big and use too much gas . The vehicle that we like the most is the redesigned 07 -08 Kia Sedona , which is a lot of bang for our buck . We have also thought about the Buick Enclave and the new 2008 Toyota Highlander and many more 7 passenger vehicles but we are having a hard time deciding on one with so many to choose from . Anyone have any suggestions or recommendations ?
If you love the Pathfinder but need more space, why not step up to the Armada?
I don't think that the interior room of the Highlander or Sedona is going to make you happy. The Enclave is better, but if you need room for 7 people plus their gear it's going to get tight.
If you're interested in the Yukon/Tahoe but worried about fuel economy, there will be hybrid models of both coming out this Fall. I don't know that the cost of the hybrid option would by offset by your fuel savings, but it might be worth looking at if you're into hybrids.

Well, I am a loyal Nissan fan , I actually forgot all about the Armada . I now remember looking at them before I leased my Pathfinder . They were very nice . I know that they have done some refreshing to the 2008 models looks inside and out . I'll give them a look . A few weeks ago , I test drove a new 07 Yukon Denali . I liked the way it drove and the styling . I have known that the Hybrid models were coming out , but did not know when . I asked the salesman , but he did not know when they would be arriving nor the price of them .

Honda Odyssey or Toyota Sienna. Every Thanksgiving we load up an Odyssey with 7 people and luggage (including on the roof) and drive 6 hours to a relatives house on the Oregon Coast. Plus, power sliding doors on both sides make it really easy for rear passengers to get in and out.
One feature of minivans I really like is fold and stow seats in the back. We got rained out on a picnic one time, but we just dropped the middle row of seats and had a nice cozy place for our toddler to jump around until the squall passed.
How about an Escalade? They are huge inside? But real pricey as I'm sure you know. And they only get abot 19 hwy, 13 city. But they sure are nice Maybe when I win the lotto?

How about the Ford Explorer, it's the most popular midsized SUV in America and had a re-fresh last year to make it even more comfortable. I've driven them before and I was suprised at how well it handled, it felt smaller than it actually was. I also recommend the Yukon but it IS a large vehicle and won't get great gas mileage but I feel it's worth it.
You can get a 2007 Tahoe/Yukon with about $11K in discounts right now and that HAS to be enough room for you.. or else there's always the Suburban. The hybrid version of it seems to pretty much be a joke as the mileage doesn't really increase that much and besides, they don't get that bad of mileage compared to cars much smaller, or a nissan pathfinder. I know I drove one of those for a few days and was amazed by its ability to suck down gas. You have to be real careful on the gas pedal with one of them..
my daughter's wanting a Tahoe to replace her Tribute because the Tribute doesn't have enough power. I can just see her driving a monster SUV down the street a mile or so to her job
