Yup, I am very happy with the redesign. If I was in the market for a midsize sedan, it would be one of the top choices. As it is, Ford stocks have been doing very well for my portfolio this year!

Default Not quite an Aston but...

...still a nice-looking sedan...inside and out.

I like the old Fusion better. Reminds me of what Ford did to the Taurus in 1996, and also to the 500/Taurus in 2010. Every time they get a decent mainstream sedan, they have to come up with some redesign that looks like it just landed from outer space.

If you want an outlandish looking sports car, buy one. Leave the mainstream sedans alone.

I think I might take back my previous statement though. I was just looking through some pics of Aston Martins and they still look amazing haha.
Oh tell me about it. If I had the means I'd have a V8 Vantage in the garage.

The new Fusion makes me wonder why all car companies can't make their "cheap" cars look sharp, something that young people actually want to drive.

This is a home run for Ford.

Hyundai/Kia has been doing it for years and sales sky rocketed as a result. Other manufacturers are jumping on board though as the new Mazda 3 and 6 are great looking too.

Copying high end models of anything has been done forever with any retail items, shoes, watches, shirts...not sure why vehicles are any different.

Chrysler 300 = Ghetto Bentley!

I see Mercedes has a new(?) sub $30k ride that looks sharp.

You're comparing the packaging of a FWD family sedan (where head room and leg room are critical) to that of a $225,000 sports car? I like long and low, but there is some sensibility that needs to be involved here...this is a mass market vehicle, after all.

While styling is subjective, the '13 Fusion is more substantial from a design perspective than the '96 Taurus, which bombed on the market due to its ovoid design cues and awkward greenhouse. YTD Fusion sales are up 18%, so the new styling is doing well with the public.

The old Taurus was such a hideous car. It looks like its constantly melting.
