bought a used ford p/u with 92k on it, sold it 6 yrs later with 206k miles on the meter. I currently drive a 1970 VW bus, just had the engine rebuilt after putting 75k miles on it. I haved logged 200k miles on my work truck in under 9 yrs.
that I got high in all the time & could barely see the odometer much less the road. It stopped working at 677,502 miles. (Bong resin in the instrument cluster)
I drive a 1999 Infiniti I30t with 173,000 miles on it. It runs fantastically, but I've replaced nearly everything, at a cost of over $9,000. Considering it retailed for $33,000 new, the total investment, with gas and maintenance is probably in upwards of $50,000.
I think, however, this is cheaper than buying a new car all the time.
