The problem with that list is that they're almost all in the category of - big yawn - who cares - boring, stupid cars.

My list starts with something more like this....
AutoTrader Classics - 1967 Buick Gran Sport Convertible Red 8 Cylinder Automatic 2 wheel drive | Muscle & Pony Cars | Beaver Falls, PA

Nice Jensen! My buddy uses his J-H as a daily driver in the non-snow months.

Owned a version of this for a number of years, rebuilt it from the ground up.

Nice-looking car. Too bad the body, electrical, and front suspension were junk.

Gotta agree with you on the 'Stang. Of the cars on the list, only the Miata is currently in production, and only the Alfa and Fiat are within reasonable purchase price. The rest are stratospherically priced unicorns few will ever see, let alone own.
On my version of that list I would have:

Lincoln Continental
Triumph TR6
Lotus Elan
MGB
1st Gen Camaro
Saab 900 SPG
Honda S600

Although not a very good car, I always lover the look and the fun of driving a TR3

You can reach out and drag your finger nails on the road while you drive. (Not sure why that is fun, but it is).

It was the first commercially available passenger car to have disc brakes!
