Undercover speed demon sets record for the fastest single lap around Manhattan - NYPOST.com

Below the article is a video and you can ride along with this guy.

I watched this because it's the closest I'll ever be to riding this fast.
I'm amazed at how nicely the car braked - no skidding.

Should've had a split screen with the speedometer on half.

Anything shot from helmet or windshield cam looks awfully fast on the screen. You have to see the side of landscape to actually have some perspective and sense of speed.
Oh, and btw. This is not real time video. Pay attention to how jerky are other cars on the road. It is first sign of this being accelerated a bit.

Uh, you can plainly see the time counter.

Really? I also saw dogs talking. And other animals. Does it prove dogs do talk?
Any novice can tell, that video is accelerated. Seeing that counter down at the bottom means squat.

Just to have my t-s crossed and i-s dotted.
I sent this vid to my son, who is graphic designer and works for Microsoft in video gaming and does his own videos and all that. Pretty much, he knows his stuff.
It's accelerated video. I, also, watched it again, and it is super crisp clearly seen.

It's obvious the video itself has been accelerated but the time counter in the video also speeds up accordingly. I have no doubt that he completed that lap in the time indicated. Given the fact that he was recently arrested for this very reason only further supports this deduction.
