I'll be in the market for a new (or most likely used) car soon and it seems to be harder and harder to find cars offered with manual transmissions. They're either automatics, or so called automated manuals/DCTs/etc. I like convertibles, need to have room for my family of 4, and am tired of the whimpy/raspy sound of my 6-cylinder. What could I get?
Chevy Camaro or Ford Mustang - not particularly fond of the styling though
BMW M3 or M6 - I believe that the M versions are offered with manuals
Jeep Wrangler - can you get this with an V8 and a manual?
How about Audi S4 or S5?
Chevy Corvette is only 2 seater. Same with Aston Martin Vantage
Not V8, but if you want a good quality car, you can get Camry Solara with V6 and manual.
Word is, New Accord with V6 can be bought with manual and is heck of fun to drive.
Good luck with other choices.
Theres a few non-M BMW convertables out there available with a manual and plenty of power. Don't count their I6's out just because you have a wimpy v6 in something else. Of course, if you happen to purchase an M, I'm sure you'd be happy.

I currently own an e46 M3 convertible with a 3.2L I6
