I just put a set of Continental tires on my F150 about 5 months ago. The day after i had them installed, i went out to drive to work and the right rear was half flat. I had a drywall screw in the sidewall. Unrepairable. Called up Tirerack (where i purchased them) and they said Continental had their own road hazard. I had to buy a new tire, have it shipped, swapped out the tire with the screw, and sent that back to Tirerack (they provided the shipping label, etc.) All i was out total was the mounting and about $15 in shipping. very happy with the tires, phenonmenal traction in rain.

Doesn't your new car come with a bumper to bumper warranty for the first year? That seems like a very long cut.

I have the extremeContact DSWs.

I just replaced the last set with a brand new set. I got 62,000 miles out of the last set without more than 1-2psi of pressure loss every 2-3 months. Good tires. Held balance from the original balancing through 62k miles. Even wore evenly.

Decided to buy again because they were awesome in the snow with my AWD g35x. Fortunately for me, the last 15k miles of their life was spent during the spring/summer. I prob could have gone another 4-5k, but winter is coming and I need tread again.

Thanks for these Extreme Contact DWS reveiws. I still have my original Pirelli's on my 2008 Cobalt coupe. Only has 23k miles on it. I will be putting on Continental Extreme Contact DWS tires when replacement time comes.

I've used Continental Extreme Contact on my TL and 540 in the past. I would say that they are pretty good tires. The current Continental Runflat that is on my wife's car, I am not too crazy about.

I have these same tires as well, and also just approaching 60k on them. Tread is now too low to make it through this winter, so I'll be replacing them with another set of the same tires soon. They've been fantastic; I have no complaints.
