Cigarette cartons are paper/cardboard. They are recyclable. Beer cans are aluminum. They are recyclable too.

Making noise when you're out on your own property is your right. When you do that driving by someone's neighborhood, you deserve to be punished. You would complain if I came and stood outside of your ghetto apartment and blared a stereo when you're sleeping.

I would strongly favor citations that lead to a suspension of license for continued noise violations. It is morally reprehensible. You wake up someone's child, they have a right to demand compensation. Since they won't get it, punishing people like you is the best we can do.
You are talking about morals yet you sit and watch someone get assaulted over making noise? I would certainly feel pity over someone getting assaulted over making noise. I hate noisy hondas with fart mufflers zipping down the street at 5 am but I don't go and try to assault them over it.

I don't mind the noise, used to live along a major street in a high rise. But for the love of god, up shift! You don't have to be in the power band on a 25 mph street that is only half a mile long!

Someone will need to start an anti-drug campaign in Texas or most of the population will be smoking cigarettes and drinking beer.

Nah, be a rebel, buy a Harley and put straight pipes on your low RPM engine that would really like a little back pressure.

I'd rather complain about the neighborhood's 10 different landscapers that come on different days of the week making almost every day unbearable, or the planes that fly overhead every few minutes making backyard bbqs uncomfortable.
