Just curious. How does it compare to Amsoil and M1?

When I researched what oil to use in my Subaru, there were too many saying that Royal Purple was good for track cars with very frequent changes, but in regular use it would lose viscosity (shred?) too fast.

That said, Subarus can be a little particular about their oil.

I'm using Amsoil 10W-40 in my car, 7,5k mile change interval.

Well I run Motorcraft synthetic blend in my Lincoln, oil and filter changes at 5,000 miles. In my pickups I am running Rotella 10w30 in the gas engines. I use Rotella SAE. 30 in my small engines.

I've wondered how much better RP is from Mobile 1? It's a $2 difference.

In a street car with less then 100whp per cylinder, I think it is a waste of money. Just buy Mobil 1 from Wal-Mart and change it every 5000 miles.
