I have the same issue due to my height. I have removed many seats from vehicles and redrilled to move them back. This works well, but some of the newer ones are more difficult to adjust this way due to the configuration under the seat and there is also wiring to deal with. Headroom is a concern as well if you have a long torso. We had a 2001 Sable that I redrilled, but it still did not really work out as the windshield was too low and seeing out clearly was still a problem. In vehicles with low windshields I have trouble seeing traffic lights unless I duck down some.

I will probably test drive the Avalon, Lucerne and Lacrosse when I shop next time for a vehicle. I drove a Malibu a year ago and it had tons of leg room. The seat went way back. I have heard the Impala has good leg room as well.

My brother-in-law is 6'8" and 300 pounds. He drives a Nissan Altima. He's actually on his second one. He finds these cars to be the roomiest of all the mid-size models for his frame.

I'll have to try an Altima out as well. We had a Nissan Pathfinder and I redrilled and moved the seat back. I like the looks of the Altima.

if you want to have some fun OP, find a decent shape honda 600 coupe, remove the front seats and drive from the back seat. that would be a bit of a comedy routine.

Thanks for the ideas guys, very helpful. Will test drive the Avalon and Impala in the upcoming days. Was just informed a family member of mine with my same stats drives an impala.
