Recently I am down around 7,000 miles a year on my daily driver Charger, with about another 2000 to 3000 on my BRZ. I used to drive over 20,000 miles a year, but a shorter commute along with far less discretionary driving these days has really cut that back.

My car has around 84,000 miles and it's a 2003 - my only car. That works out to 7,636 miles a year. I fly commercial more than drive. And I don't own real estate. When my job changes I break my apartment lease and move close to where I work. It keeps my abs defined at age 55 since I have time to work out and it saves me lots of money. I always make sure there is a good gym and highly rated apartments within 10 miles before I accept a job offer.

My 2013 F250 I bought in Feb 2013 has 46k on the clock.

I bought a '99 Camry for my gf in Jan 2014 with 88k miles and it now has about 95k miles. She lives with me so we ride a lot of places together.

We used to take the truck everywhere since work pays for my gas, but with how the miles have racked up, and how much routine maintenance is ($110 oil changes and $120 fuel filters every other oil change) plus my tires are $1600 and will probably last around 35k mi or so.

Lately, we've been taking the Camry despite my work paying for gas in the truck. Simply to cut back on the miles of my truck and wear and tear. It also makes me appreciate the truck more when I do drive it. The Camry is a great car and in excellent shape, just very basic.

Our weekend convertible has about 14,000 miles after 4 years. So around 3,500 per year.
Our family truckster (SUV) has 5,000 miles after 5 months. So probably 12,000 per year.

Are you still doing regular maintenance based on years instead of based on mileage? If that were my truck I'd still change the oil every 12 months, brake fluid every 2 years, coolant every 2 years, etc... As long as you do your maintenance, whoever buys that truck from you will have a gem on their hands!
The oil has been changed 5 times in the 7400 miles. They were free oil changes by Toyota. From now on I'll change it once a year.

I have an '08 that's got 41k now. Even at ~5.1k/year it sounds like a lot to me since I'm home everyday. My longest drive has been a 6hr road trip and that was only this past summer.

Previously I had a '95 for 14 years until the tranny quit on me at 123k.

My wife commutes 10 mins each way only to the train station and has done 4k in 2 years. 10-15 mins is not uncommon for a commute though. I would guess > 10k/year is not the avg, but somehow it is.
