I've got a freaking annoying buzz in the car when anything with even the slightest hint of bass comes over the radio. Even talk.

Car stereo is bone-stock, and it's not volume dependent at all.

I've narrowed it down to the overhead sunglasses storage and interior light assembly.

No way it's going to the dealer for this.

So two questions.

1) if I were to try and attenuate this myself, what sorts of tools and materials would one recommend? I was thinking some foam tape or bits of soft rubber padding, some dental pick type instruments, needlenose etc. to jam into little cracks and crevices.

2) Would an aftermarket audio shop be able to isolate and fix something like this in a heartbeat?
