A thread about tire pressure never grows old. Especially with all the MIBies out there who still don't get what correct pressure is.

The best air is OEM air that comes with the vehicle, it's the freshest and of the highest quality.

And make sure you change it every 3000-5000 miles. It's important to rotate the tire while draining out the old air, to make sure you get all the old air out of there.

It's easiest to do the air change when you're topping off your blinker fluid (you do check it every 3-5k miles, don't you?). Also be sure to grease the muffler bearings at the same time.

A little trouble and time now will save you big repair bills later, should the air in your tires go bad, or you run out of blinker fluid, or - worst of all - the muffler bearings seize. I know there are those supposedly "lifetime lubricated" muffler bearings, but I don't trust them.
