Are your windows tinted? Ceramic tint is a great way to go. It does not have to be dark to work. They have nearly clear tint that can be applied to your windshield.

Is there anything on the market that will keep the interior of your car cool that is either solar powered or battery powered? We are going to be taking a road trip and we frequently stop at rest areas to sleep but since it will be warm, we wanted something to cool the car without having to keep the car running.
A hybrid car. I average 43 MPG in the warm weather even with the AC on.
