Looks like they're doing pretty well in quality for 2015:

They're still family sedans so they won't compete with a sports car, but in my opinion the Honda would be the more fun daily driver.
The V6 Accord is fun to drive, but it doesn't really handle too well in curves. It will scoot up the road, especially if you put it in the "sport" manual drive. As the OP said, it is a very quiet drive, unless of course, you got the tires I have on mine, and they make the most awful noise I have ever heard from a set of tires. I had everything checked out on my Accord and nothing was wrong, just the tires are loud! Will stick with a better brand the next time.

i own a 13 sonata. its reliable, gives me no problems, gets me up and down the highway and back comfortably and safely.

i dont need to show off like many of you do.

i dont need 350 hp v8 that i cant use because roads are always littered with traffic and speed limits are in place.

the reason why i chose it was because it actually looks sleek and sophisticated compared to the dull camry at a lower price rate with similar reliability.

i actually bought an accord first and returned it. seats in that accord are hell and those are overpriced.

We have a 2011 Sonata going on 80k miles. Its my SO's car, but I drive it as much as she does. When we bought the car, we were certainly not looking for a fun car (I have a motorcycle for that), just something that looked decent, and was reliable. At the time, the price range was much better then competitors, and we liked the look more. It gets the job done.

Quality right there. If you want better performance and even better quality, get the Genesis Sedan.

OP was comparing to his American Truck.... A Jet Airplane with 3 bad pistons would be considered a quieter ride than those trucks.
