To me, a luxury vehicle would be a Jeep Wrangler with air conditioning & heat.

The S65 coupe has an awesome feature not found on any other car or even other S coupes. The door when you open it stops where you stop it, doesn't have notches it goes to then stops. Something simple like this makes a difference in door dings. My MB coupe, I love how I barely have to put any pressure or force to close the doors, doors almost close themselves, I attribute that to better build quality.

Ferrari FF
Rolls Royce
Aston Martin
Yes, but what makes those cars luxury, other than the name?

To me a luxury car has to be big and comfortable, not one that has to be crawled into. It has to have all the bells and whistles. One that comes to mind is a Cadillac Escalade. Lincoln Town Car is also one. The only BMW that ever came close to me was the 700 series. Forget the 300 series.

To me, there is a difference between a luxury car and a sports car. A luxury car is for cruising. It should be refined and isolated like a Rolls-Royce. Something like a Ferrari is a very high end sports car, but I don't really consider it a luxury car. It's built for racing, not absolute comfort.

About the prime example of a luxury car is a Rolls-Royce. They don't lap it around the burgerkingring. The horsepower number is "sufficient".

Around 55K and up. As long as luxury and comfort are that vehicle's main intentions, so a Vette or 911 need not apply.

Seriously, for me a luxury vehicle would be one that would have to be custom ordered. A Ford Ranger, with window wells, front and side airbags, automatic, a/c, hand cranked windows, NO GPS or OnStar, a sunroof, leather seats, CD player, - basically all the good stuff from the 80s with all the safety features of 2015 and none of the garbage from 2015. And of course, everybody's idea of that is subjective. Oh, yeah, with the $2000 camper shell I'd want to put on the back. With a custom paint job, of course.

Besides, if I park next to the luxury cars mentioned here, which one do you think will get stolen first? LOL
