Thinking of sElling a cAR ive had for about a year. Got the car appraised, and I would be losing a couple thousand. Trying to decide if it's worth the hit or if I should just keep it. ThE car is discontinued now, and I'm opting to get a model that's also bigger, so that factors in

Ps. Anyone hAve any experience with the new Toyota highlander? How would you rate it

Trade it in six month or 3,000 miles (whichever comes first) before FULL warranty expires and get what you want.

And keep the car EXTRA clean. No pets and no kids spilling drinks.

Without knowing what the car is, it would be hard to give opinion on if you should do it or not. Only losing $2K on a 1 year old car is pretty difficult to pull off unless it's one of several top tier cars with unusually high resale.

What's so much better about the new car that makes it " worth" losing a few thousand. Personally I would drive the car you have now. Unless the car is unsafe or a pile why lose money on it.
