Did 1989 to 91' Suburbans V2500s have 6 lig bolt patterns instead of just 8? (vehicle, AWD)

I saw a 1989 Suburban and on the side it said 2500. It was also a 4x4. However I saw it had a 6 bolt pattern instead of 8. It was also a diesel, maybe a 6.2 Detroit diesel

I go to sites like tirerack or discounttiredirect to answer obscure questions like that. Or use google. Seems it would be 8-165 on the 4x4s. Apparently there may be an AWD variant that uses 6-139. Maybe somebody stuck some fake badges on the side of their 1500.

2500 should be a Corporate 10 bolt front which is eight lug, not sure about the rear. Could be a bunch of things-they make adapters to go from eight to six, or they swapped axles, or somebody threw a 2500 badge on a 1500. The fact that it's a diesel would make that unlikely though.
1989 Chevrolet Suburban C2500 6 lug 5.5 inch or 139.7 mm Standard Offset
1990 Chevrolet Suburban C2500 6 lug 5.5 inch or 139.7 mm Standard Offset
1991 Chevrolet Suburban C2500 8 lug 6.5 inch or 165.1 Standard Offset

Great example of GM making things confusing for no reason. I was assuming 4WD (K2500), but obviously this one is 2WD (C2500). Wouldn't it have been easier to make them all eight lug?

Okay and? Your post didn't really ask a question. I just showed you, that the 89/90 suburban was available with a 6 lug. So there really are a few different options here. They did an axle swap, they are using wheel adapters, or you really have no idea what you are talking about.
