Seems they are having no problem selling their Jeep, or Ram pickups and their muscle cars. Seems like they are doing ok. And they are building their new assembly plant in Detroit very soon.

Chrysler products repeatedly have low scores for overall longevity and reliability. Nobody is saying they don’t make good looking vehicles that sell. I had two Chrysler products. Both were crap. Right now we have a Dodge minivan for our vanpool. At about 8000 miles the trans started shifting rough once in a while. To me that’s unacceptable. But it’s not my car so I’ll drive it until it craps out.
Well they will become one of the largest automakers in the world behind VW , Toyota, and GM. So they don’t see a problem with that.
So what? Giant conglomerate automaker wont necessarily translate into a better product for consumers. This is the three stooges of the automotive world.
Has there ever been an example of a French automaker, or any consortium including a French automaker, having any success in the US?
