not arguing that the 8 series looks good, but i am arguing that it is a sexy car, it isnt. it is a pedestrian car.

Not sure if I agree with your definition of pedestrian. A Corolla is "pedestrian." An 8 series, not at all. Unless you know of a bunch of cheap mainstream car models that look like it or as good as it.

the 8 series is not a unique design per say. it looks like many other cars from various manufacturers, thus it is a pedestrian design.

Point out what other car looks like it, other than the 6 series that it followed, and the Thunderbird that was admittedly stolen from it.

There are no common cars that look anything like it.

Fairmonts are pedestrian. The car above? Not a chance.

the basic shape of the car dates back to the ford taurus. it is a common egg shaped car with some styling differences. it is a pedestrian car when you look at it. sorry to disappoint you, but the 8 series BMW is nothing special styling wise.

If we're talking about the most unique/rare BMW, nothing beats the Z8...

If you think that a swoopy coupe looks like a Taurus sedan, you need glasses.

yeah, not so much, dude.

But the basic shape dates back well before there WERE Tauruses, to the '70's 6 series coupe:

And that one follows from another sexy car, the BMW 3.0 CS:
