Ok I was wondering if this was right. (Floating gears) 18speed clutch in up into first and most people only split the higher gears split 1st let off gas let it drop about 200 rpm and get back on it split it down let off the gas go into 2nd and do that up until 5th and flip the range selecter up and when you downshift let off gas go into neutral step on gas and go into next gear and i pretty much no how to shift all the other speed transmissions but a 15 now do you flip the reproduction switch forward and clutch let off the gas and everything but when you get into 5th do you flip the range selecter up and go into 1st and shift until u get to 5th and that's the top gear. Is this right?
A splitter is great if you're going up a long pass and need half a gear.
Otherwise... why bother? Just shift it like a 9 or 10 speed.
That is what was concluded in his first thread.
