On the lawn of a house in a small town I pass through during my commute, a yellow first generation (66 or 67) Dodge Charger. Been a while since I saw one of those. Looked really good from 20 feet away.
This morning I saw what I think was a current production Maserati Gran Turismo in of all places West Richland. The driver made a lane switch ahead of me, no signal, then turned left, again no signal. I can say it was for certain purple colored, and had a "Maserati" badge on the trunk lid.
A quick word about my car. That 1979 Fiat X1/9 was solid and dependable. And a lot of fun! Not a lot of power but she handled great, like she was on rails People made fun of Fiats, especially in the 70s and 80s and how they always broke down, but my car was dependable. I maintained it well, and she served me well from when I bought it new in 1980 (Menzies Fiat in San Francisco, now long gone if anyone remembers that) until the winter of 1984-1985 when I sold it after putting 90,000 great miles on her in just 4 years.
You had far better luck with yours than my sister did with hers - and maintenance wasn't her issue. Everything was done at the dealership. It once spent three weeks in the service department waiting for some obscure electrical part to arrive from Italy to replace the one that fried pretty much the whole electrical system - and this was in her first year of ownership.

Fiats likely earned their reputation. It’s unfortunate that your sister suffered with hers.
