I have a 2014 Mazda 3 S Grand Touring and the car has been great in the 3+ years I have had it. However, recently I noticed that the Navigation hasn't been working. I don't use it often, but have never had any issues with it. All of a sudden the GPS constantly showed me in the parking lot of my office, no matter where I actually was (such as sitting in my driveway). It also showed no satellites available/ I tried a few different things including popping the SD card in and out a few times and that didn't work. I also just tried to restore all factory settings. Other than wiping out everything, it didn't do anything either. Only difference is instead of the GPS thinking I'm in my office lot, now it has me in San Antonio (I'm on Long Island). Anyone have any other options on how this can be fixed?

Friend works at a Mazda dealer.
The system usually needs updating. They should do it for free.

Free updates for 3 years. I'd try that first, but I doubt that's it. Sounds like the onboard gps antenna is busted to me.

Lack of an update won't cause it to stop functioning.

Will agree with the possible antenna issue, or the GPS unit itself.
