I need two front tires for my Toyota Corolla S, with 65,000 miles. Please make some recommendations, taking into consideration quality. Thanking you in advance.
when i look at tires, i start with the brands i tend to favor most, cooper, kuhmo, faulken, yokohama.
the next thing i look at is what the tire is designed for, i prefer an all season tire.
then i look at the tread wear rating for the tire, i want to see a minimum of 440
a traction rating of at least b and a temperature rating of at least b. your tire person can help you with these.
next would be the speed range of the tire. i dont really need anything over an H(130mph) rated tire. anything more for most people is just for bragging.
i then look at price. the set of tires i just bought were $106 each plus tax and various sundries.
I have Michelin defenders on my Jetta.
Good traction both on wet and dry pavement.
High mileage (80k) as well ,so for the average driver these will last a while.
Had them for about 2 months,so far I like them.
Check Tire Rack for your specific vehicle. Look at the ratings and recommendations. You can narrow down the choices by budget, driving conditions, performance, etc.
Good grief, yet another person who can't bother to educate themselves, at all. Not even enough to give important information to help narrow anything down.... like, budget restrictions, type of driving, climate, etc....
Don't fall all over yourselves trying to help someone who can't even be bothered to try and help themselves.

What's on the car now? It's not advised to mix different tires on car. Looking for something different will require all four to be changed.

Give us your exact tire size. Older model cars tend to be limited in the brands offering tires in those sizes.

Thank you for your disheartened comment......I am a widow, trying to raise children, with a disability, that had a husband who took care of all those issues, therefore, there was no reason for me to educate myself with Automotive issues.
May God Bless You, for your thinking process......
