Most expensive-my dads 1991 twin turbo 300zx

Fastest-my friends Honda CBR954. Top speed of about 175mph. The beauty of it is I think you can pick one up in good condition on craigslist for about $4,000.

Fastest: My 2016 Yamaha R1M or my last bike, a 2011 Kawasaki ZX14R

Now that's a fast bike!!! 220mph if you remove the governor and put a smaller sprocket on the back. Probably an $80 sprocket and about an hours worth of work.

Thing is they were not all that expensive back in the day... the GT 40 sold for 20k to someone in New York but today the sky is the limit...

The original 427 Cobra was bought for 10k... now the sky is the limit...!
Back then though, wouldn't $20K be like $120K?

Went to a builders party back in April. One of the subs is a father and son. They have a plumbing company. The son showed up in a Ferrari. Dad came with a Lambo Aventador with the V12. Dad would not let son drive his Lambo and the BS between them was thick over which car was the best and fastest. As it turned out, dad never drove his car hard at all. So we talked dad into letting me drive him around a little to show him what the car was about. They said you could hear him scream for miles as I aired it out. I only got up 180 with it. According to the son, the car hasn't been out of the garage since. Dad just goes out and sits in it. Hard to believe a plumber owns a car like that but they also have about 30 work trucks. While it was a short ride, I'd love to stretch one out at a place like Texas Speedway. Probably have to kill dad to get the car though.

I once test drove my dream car, a 1967 Mustang convertible with 289 V8 engine. Made me realize how far we have come in brakes and car seats and this was in 1988. If I were to get a 67 Mustang I'd have to resto mod the car for improved stopping power, 3 point seat belts, and high back seats for improved whiplash protection. It had enough straight line acceleration for my taste as well as drop dead good looks.

Fastest: My current Mazda 3 is technical the fastest but the stock 1983 RX-7 that I drove definitively felt faster.
Expensive: Volvo VNL Conventional (Semi) at the time it was worth about 70-80,000.
I need to step up my game or find some richer friends.
