LAS VEGAS, N.M. - Jessie Vigil's black-and-white car sports a red-and-blue emergency bar across the top and the word "police" painted on the doors. Vigil, however, isn't a cop.

Here in GA that would be illegal. You can paint the car that way but you cannot put light bars on top of a car that are red or blue. That is a big no no here.

I love it!

Especially the "to punish & enslave" part.

Illegal in Florida too. And when they sell their cars in auctions, they've stripped off all the law enforcement emblems so all you have is the paint. And def no lights - that's a big no-no.

I understand he's trying to be a cool dad, but I don't think that's the way to do it. Now all the creeps will find out they can do the same thing. Except eventually someone will pretend to be a deputy / officer and pull someone over.......... and then what happens? A woman is raped..... murdered? I think they need to get some laws on the books there to stop it and start being more responsible when selling their cars at auction. Maybe he should just buy a sports car.

Yes....but....they are not light bars. They are just painted to look like light bars....there's no light inside them....

I didnt click on the link, but it sounds like he has a Mustang cop car wannabe? If so, he's just copying Barracade from the new Transformers movie. Barracade has "to punish and enslave" on the rear quarter panel.

I am going to paint mine like a cop car as well. I was thinking of painting it pink, with a big nose and a curly tail.
