You, however, or anyone else riding that vehicle, cannot. Thank goodness you're safe.
You know, I didn't think about it when first looking at the pics, but your comment made me think of it..

He's actually pretty lucky it's his ribs that are sore.. A side collision with a tree like that.. Pretty lucky his head didn't snap over and hit the tree. There was.. Decent intrusion there.

I got T-boned while driving my Grandmother years ago in her old Chrysler E-Class.. I was the perfect wrong height for that car.. Head nailed the door frame. We didn't know enough about concussions in the early 90's to know I should have gone to the hospital.

2003 Chevy Silverado. 213,000 miles on it but still runs great. I was able to limp home after the crash. It appears the frame is not bent but the bottom of the door frame and roof are smashed in.

I also have some steering issues and it sort of "bounces" if I go above 20mph.
Is it worth towing to an auto body repair shop or does it appear to be totaled?
Can it be fixed? Yes.

Is it worth it? Not even close.

if you can get it up to a decent speed you could try hitting the same tree on the other side, it might snap everything back into synchronicity
