I'm sure some people might have seen this one already, but it happened in Quebec on a highway, it's like something out of a movie or mythbusters:

I find it odd that a truck like this one doesnt have some kind of warning or lock out mechanism making it impossible for the truck to move if the bucket is still in the raised position.

I'm surprised the driver couldn't tell from the way the vehicle handled that the bed was up. That thing must have been swaying all over the road.

Well you solve the mystery in the thread title. I had seen the video and was wondering what was in the trailer to make it appear to explode like that. Gotta admit I never considered canola seed.

My son drives a truck, so he gets to talk to a lot of truck drivers. He says some of them aren't very smart.

I find more interest in deciding what sort of vehicle the movie-making-while-driving person was piloting.

Appears to be a new Ford F-150 dash in the Facebook movie. Maybe a Platinum version.

What do you all think?

He's probably right. Maybe the driver in the incident was rockin' out to a good Rush song like Tom Sawyer!

I'd be interested in seeing pictures of what the bridge looked like after the crash.

Years ago I went by a repaving project on the highway where a dump truck driver forgot to lower his dump body and he took out one of the over the highway signs. OOPS .
