Around here $3.50 and higher starts to really make people complain. However, I have a far more fuel efficient care now, a Hybrid, so I will be ready to absorb higher gas prices more easily than the droves of Americans who are going back to large SUV's thanks to lower gas prices. So for me it would have to be above $4 a gallon to really make me think about the damage it's doing to my bank account.

No doubt that was leaded regular. I'm curious where that was.

During that period the lowest unleaded got in my area was around $0.90, which it neared again in December 1998-January 1999.

Where was there leaded in '86?

But yeah, that sounded more like '76 to me. That's when it passed the 60 cent mark in the Kansas City area, anyway. Never to return anywhere I know of.

A good friend still drives Metros (He has (3)).
CRx did well on fuel (nearly 50 mpg on gas (ICK))

50 MPG since 1976, Where have you been? No dinosaurs required
even my 'new' '96-'97 B4Vs (wagons) are pretty decent horse (1250 miles per fill-up)
GTD is still my favorite econo ride. Since they never were imported to North America, You can make your own for ~$1000 and a weekend.

Gas jumped 2 cents today & is now $3.48. A barrel of oil is now a little over $72.00 & is predicted to hit $85.00 sometime this year. Sometime in 2019 a barrel of oil is predicted to hit $100.00. I don't understand why the U.S. don't have more oil refineries so we don't have to reply on the greedy middle east for oil. I hope to get rid of my gas guzzler car during the next smog test in late 2019 (we shall see).

Check this link - we rival Saudi Arabia now.

So if trump wanted to do something about it such as lowering gas prices, could he ? I know he wont.

Hey now, most of us have 401ks padded with energy stocks. They’re being greedy on our behalf.

If oil is forcasted to be $100 a barrel next year, you could complain or could you buy in now and get a piece of the action.
