You shouldn't be buying expensive cars to impress women.

Great word. If you've noticed this for decades, does that mean you're superannuated too?

Do that many guys really buy old, used cars thinking that it will impress women?

Well, whether they do or not, take that dealer decal off anyway. They are not paying you to be a rolling billboard for their business.

I always figured guys who drove fancy souped up cars were trying to make up for shortcomings elsewhere.

Not too many women know about cars to care .

When I used to borrow my uncle's vandem plas/jaguar, I left a nice impression ,enjoying the luxo back seat for some kissing.

When I picked them up in my beater Honda crx, they were impressed with my confidence.go figure?

Long story short, having any car, some persuasion , and knowing how to communicate with the opposite sex goes way farther then a shiny new Mercedes.

As a corvette owner, I get far more looks, compliments, and questions from men. I bought it because it impressed me and not anyone else. But just for the hell of it, I posted a picture of it on tinder to see the reaction. Nothing.

Women don't care and don't know what a nice car is. They prefer SUVs anyway.

So you folks can rest assured that a car won't make a difference in whether you pull some tail or get laid. Maybe if you had a Lamborghini, but then again if you had that, you wound't be on tinder. Oh and you don't want the type of women who are attracted to your car, they'll bleed you dry.

Maybe in AK because that's how you can get places, but in the lower 48 most of the women I've known HATE small airplanes.

I'm not interested in a man's money or what kind of car(s) he has.

I do have hobbies associated with cars--road trips, classic car shows, working on cars--so it's okay if the man also has these hobbies My DH likes road trips and car shows but not working on the cars so that's fine because I also don't want a carbon copy of myself.

I am most impressed by honesty, intelligence, sense of humor, compassion and creativity. DH had an old beater when we met 27 years ago, lol.

Honestly, if the main thing that the woman a guy has wants from him is status symbols/money then he should probably find someone else who is not shallow and materialistic.
