The Detroit 3 is plagued by many problems, the number one being the UAW.

Paradoxically that smaller cars fit my long legs better than large cars/trucks/suvs.

I don't understand why more cars weren't built with plastic body panels like Saturns used to be. I owned a couple of Saturns and I liked the plastic panels.

Too bad Corvette doesn't make an affordable grocery-getter type vehicle.

Hybrids are a ridiculous and inefficient notion when it comes to saving anything.

(No offense intended, tickyul) ^^^^^

I like my Prius and like its CVT. And I'm a conservative "cowboy" (from Wyoming) who's driven mostly sticks and pickups for the past several decades. I don't like it because it's "green," I like it because it drives nice and is the most dependable and cheapest operating car I've ever owned. 95K miles on it now and still waiting to spend the first dime on a repair; 45 mpg average in town and driving 70-80 mph in the country.

The reason your statement is an unpopular opinion is because it’s not accurate.

(I do not like the UAW, either, but they are not even one of the top 5 issues that Ford and GM are faced with.)
