My unpopular opinion: divorce isn't a bad thing. If two people gave it a shot and no longer want to be married, that's not shameful or even a failure, necessarily.

I am going to co-sign on this one.
Sometimes people have a good run, but end up wanting different things, or don't love their spouse anymore. I don't think it is the end of the world to get divorced.
I'm a guy, and I personally believe in 'going Dutch' during the initial dating phases, until you both decide that it's a go or not. I realize that, per traditional dating norms, this is not popular and it's generally expected that men pay for women throughout the initial courting phase. Thankfully, I am getting married in a couple of months and this has not been a concern for quite some time.
