As long as th3 building is standing the assembly line parts production storage machinery and the interior can be changed out. It’s not like they are going to use the e siting assembly line to build 1994 Oldsmobile’s
Yeah, but he touted cutting edge technology full robotic Tesla manufacturing and go see videos of them made. PLENTY of manual labor. So an older plant with old machinery might as well be just right for the fan boy car production.
As they did about the Fremont (and Nevada) factories? Did you have a point? Does the GM plant have a cornerstone restricting access to UAW members?
Let’s just say the UAW will fight Tesla to operate without union workers in UAW strong states in the Midwest, and don’t forget the old GM California plant was also a Toyota plant. Tesla needs to be closer to were the suppliers are located in the Midwest and were the UAW still holds a strong presence. And if you think the UAW will allow Tesla to ser up shop in UAW Territory your sadly mistaken the fellow UAW members of GM, Chrysler, and Ford will also seek Tesla to become union.

(Note that there are so many problems with the whole idea we might as well be discussing fiction, anyway.)
And I'm sure that meant something... 25 years ago.
The 30-somethings who are going to fall all over a new big block of jobs aren't really going to care what Grandpa thinks about it.
Not a chance in Detroit.
