The Taycan is a beautiful vehicle. No question. And I don't like the look of the Model Y, either. It's just ugly.

I have the Model Y and it's phenomenal in terms of performance, functionality, efficiency, tech and the Tesla charging network. I don't think the Y is ugly, to me it looks like a standard crossover but not a standout in looks for sure. I've had the Y for 15 months but I would be tempted by the Mustang Mach E if I were choosing today.

Assuming no cost considerations, I would go:
1. Cybertruck tri-motor
2. Mercedes 580 EQS
2.1 Lucid Air Dream (forgot about this one)
3. Hummer EV
4. Model S Plaid
5. Porsche Taycan Turbo
6. Rivian 1RT

I have not seen any electric convertibles. Anything else is just a car.

You're right, the Y isn't ugly. That wasn't really accurate of me to say. Sorry! It's just not a standout. My husband disagrees with me when I say that to him. He likes the Model Y. But then, he's a massive Tesla and Elon Musk fan.

I like the look of the X more, but it's so much pricier. Every time I price out a Model X and see that it's a whopping $1,500 a month or something like that, with all of the features I want, I gulp and close out the Tesla site. I can't mentally fathom paying more than about $800 a month for a car and even that is more than I pay now.

The Lucid Air Dream. I'm going to look that up. I've liked the look of the Lucid car I saw before online. I just really want a mid-sized SUV to haul stuff around.

Ford did an outstanding job designing that truck to meet every conceivable occupational and lifestyle. The huge frunk for tools or ice for tailgate parties, the high wattage 120V power outlets, fast charging, the ability of power your house in an emergency.

I like small, simple cars. My ICE car is a base model Honda Fit, as a reference.

If I were going to buy an EV in the US, it would likely be a Chevy Bolt. If I were going to buy an EV in Europe, it would likely be a VW ID.3 or a Renault Zoe. Renault also sells an EV version of the Twingo, but is is tiny, about the size of a Fiat 500.

Kia EV6, VW ID.Buzz, and the F150 Lightning are my top 3 right now, to replace the Bolt at the end of the lease. If I'm dreaming, the upcoming Tesla Roadster would be the choice.
