For those with EVs, what has been your experience using Tesla Superchargers (obviously for those with Teslas) vs Chargepoint vs Electrify America branded chargers vs others on the market? If you drive something other than a Tesla, how have you liked the chargers you've used?
I'm asking because we have a Tesla and the Tesla Supercharger experience while on a road trip is fantastic, the one experience we had with a Chargepoint charger was okay, but it was a slow trickle, and I'm wondering what others experience since I'll be in the market for a new car in Sept. 2023 and I'd like to go EV myself. I'm currently driving an ICE vehicle, a Volvo 2020 XC90 that I'm leasing and I think there will be lots of great options for me outside of Tesla by Sept. 2023. I'm not anti Tesla, I just think that the Model Y will be their only SUV option and I would like something roomier in an SUV model and I see that Volvo is expected to offer the XC90 in an EV by 2022 and that would be just perfect. But that means I'm no longer on Tesla Superchargers and I don't want a sub-par experience on the road. We charge with a NEMA 14 50 outlet at home and that's fantastic.
