Unless that scooter goes a lot faster than they show in this video, I don't see why it would be any preferable to a Segway.

Everything has to have a starting point. The 1903 Oldsmobile was't very fast or pretty, either. Get some on the road, make some improvements, and all of a sudden you have a new Corvette.

No doubt! Also check out sundance channel tonight at 9pm. they have a documentary on NYC and its congestion problems and associated ills (pollution). In one clip showed that electric car MIT is making. tune in if you can.
