You should install a battery shut off switch. It will keep the battery charged.

It's always frustrating to start a car that has been sitting for a while with a drained battery.

You mean to "try to start a car............with a drained battery".

Well, you have to take out a battery and recharge it before starting a car.

It's also possible to disconnect some electrical parts that may consume power: audio systems, clocks, etc.

I took the car out for a spin yesterday. Drove 26 miles to and 26 miles back. Some on the freeway. Yay gaskets.

Seriously. I did pay attention to all of your advices and I will try to get her out more. And maybe my tendency to not drive much isnt because Im an introvert. Could be Im just turning feral.

I have an elderly neighbor who rarely drives, but a few times a week she will take her car for a spin around the neighborhood. As she says, to keep both in working order.
