Best way to check for a dying battery= Tape down the horn button and wait for 10 minutes and see if it starts to become less loud. If so you need a new battery

Meanwhile, the noise from the blaring horn has driven YOU crazy and has angered everyone within a quarter-mile radius of you. They would likely be ready to kill you if they knew that you did it deliberately.

A much easier, simpler, and SAFER method is to simply use a battery tester that is made for the job. Cost is under $30 at Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/Q-TECH-Batter...02807931&psc=1
