YouTube tech reviewer Marques Brownlee has bought a new daily driver. Now, with his business as tech reviews, and being a young man to boot (30yo), Mr. Brownlee is frequently commenting on EVs. He likes many of them. But, in this polarized EV---ICE world, he also likes ICE vehicles. So he still owns a Rivian R1T, and he has just bought a 2024 Porsche 911 Turbo S - he loves both*.
I like watching Mr Brownlee's videos because he's one of the unusual people who's not fighting the culture war around EVs. He's just giving you an honest, informed opinion and letting the chips fall where they may. There are a few others - like the guys on TFL and Out of Spec Reviews...
*I gotta say, wow, top YouTube presenters can really do very well. The guy is 30yo, and yes he's got an engineering degree from Stevens Inst. of Tech., but having a Rivian and a high-end Porsche at 30yo of age - whoa! Apparently though, his videos have actually racked up over 4 Billion views, so I guess that's a lot of ad revenue that he's bringing in.
