For the last few years, Bill Heard Chevrolet has had "ethics" issues from Georgia to Arizona.

Unfortunately, the hard working employees will lose in this case, not the scumbag owners and managers who have probably already "raided" everything worth having prior to the public announcement.

The article went on to mention that the factors included they were too levereged in the truck/suv segment (reminds us of the mortgage meltdown), a floorplan upgrade that GMAC Financial backed out of, and an overall soft economy.

As an employee of a Chevrolet auto group myself, I'm watching with particular interest to see if there's any ripple effect.

They were having major problems in Lakeland, FL for fraud and misguiding the customers, especially seniors. I'm not surprised at all..

Couldn't have happened to a better company! Wonder if LandMark Chev. here in Houston( who is owned by them) will be effected? Certainly hope so....their business ethics left alot to be desired!

They had 2 dealerships here in Vegas, according to news releases they stated the high fuel costs along with the sagging economy.

They would spend a ton of money on advertising in both print and media plus advertise for new sales associates every other week.

Most of these hard-working employees were involved in the scams and unethical practices. They should have known better than to work for an employer with such a horrendous reputation!
